How to cancel QuoteIQ (trial, monthly or app store)
Cancelling QuoteIQ takes a minute once you know which door you came in through. The one mistake that costs money is cancelling in the wrong place, so start by working out where you're actually billed.
Heads up: we're an independent QuoteIQ affiliate. If you start a subscription through our links we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We're not affiliated with QuoteIQ. How this site works.
Signed up on the web? In QuoteIQ, open the left menu → Resources → Subscriptions and cancel, or do it from the web app. Subscribed inside the iPhone or Android app? Cancel in the App Store or Google Play instead. On a trial, do it before day 14, or it converts to a paid plan automatically. No refunds for partial months.

QuoteIQ Review is an independent site. We can't cancel or change a QuoteIQ account for you; only you or QuoteIQ's own support can.
First: where are you billed?
QuoteIQ's terms (sections 07 and 09 of its terms and conditions) separate two kinds of subscription:
- Billed by QuoteIQ. You signed up on myquoteiq.com or the web app and entered a card there. Your bank statement will show QuoteIQ or its processor. You cancel inside QuoteIQ.
- Billed by Apple or Google. You bought a plan as an in-app purchase on your phone. Your receipt came from Apple or Google. You cancel in the store; QuoteIQ can't do it for you.
If you're not sure, search your email for the first receipt. An Apple or Google receipt settles it.
How to cancel a QuoteIQ subscription in the app or on the web
- Sign in to QuoteIQ on the web app or the mobile app.
- Open the left-hand menu and go to Resources.
- Choose Subscriptions.
- Pick cancel and choose a reason. If your business is seasonal, the "Seasonality" reason offers a 30, 60 or 90-day pause instead (more below).
- Screenshot the confirmation and keep the email that follows.
Your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then the account stops renewing.
How to cancel if you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play
These are the stores' own standard steps, not QuoteIQ-specific ones, and the menu names occasionally shift with phone updates:
iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose QuoteIQ and tap Cancel Subscription.
Android
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Choose QuoteIQ and tap Cancel subscription.
Deleting the app doesn't cancel anything in either store.
Cancelling during the free trial
The 14-day trial needs a card, and QuoteIQ's terms are blunt about what happens next: "If you do not cancel before the trial expires, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan." Three trial rules worth knowing:
- One trial per person, business or payment method. Cancelling and signing up again with a new email won't restart the clock.
- Changing plans mid-trial ends the trial and bills you immediately. If you want a different tier, decide whether it's worth paying now.
- Annual is billed in full. If you moved to a yearly plan, that charge is non-refundable too, so see our annual vs monthly guide before switching.
Our free trial guide covers what you get during those 14 days.

Refunds: what the terms say
From QuoteIQ's terms: "All fees are earned when paid and are non-refundable … no refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, downgrades … or dissatisfaction." Processing, platform and dispute fees on customer payments are non-refundable as well. If you were charged after cancelling or billed twice, that's an error rather than a refund request, and QuoteIQ's support is who handles it; its pricing help article lists live email and text support from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central every day.
Pause instead of cancel (seasonal businesses)
There's no standalone pause button. Instead, choose "Seasonality" as the cancellation reason and QuoteIQ offers a 30, 60 or 90-day pause. That's worth considering for one reason beyond convenience: QuoteIQ keeps your current rate only while you have an uninterrupted subscription on the same plan. Cancel and resubscribe later, and you move to whatever the price is then. With prices raised for new subscriptions in October 2026, an older rate can be worth keeping.
Before you cancel: a data checklist
We couldn't find a published policy on how long QuoteIQ keeps an account's data after cancellation, so treat the day you cancel as the last day you can rely on getting it out.
- Export Data (every plan): customer lists, estimates, payments, tax reports and P&L.
- Job photos from QuoteIQ Cam and the file manager, if you need them for warranty claims.
- Open invoices. Collect or move them first; customers' payment links stop being useful once you leave.
- Recurring invoice subscriptions and saved cards. Note who's on a maintenance plan so you can re-enroll them elsewhere.
- Your business phone number, if you used ClientHub on Pro or above. Ask support what happens to it before you go.
- Integrations. Disconnect QuickBooks Online and your payment processor account; the processor account is separate from the QuoteIQ subscription.
- Website. If you used the AI Website Builder, check whether your domain is yours to point elsewhere.
Thinking of leaving because of price?
Before you cancel, check whether a lower tier fits. Most unexpected QuoteIQ bills come from a plan picked for one feature, or from IQ Credit top-ups; our IQ Credits guide shows how to cap that. If you're moving to another tool, our QuoteIQ alternatives page compares the realistic options. And if you cancelled a trial early and want another look, a fresh trial won't be offered on the same business or card, so a monthly plan is the low-commitment route back in.
Our affiliate link; you pay the normal price. New customers only; the trial auto-converts unless cancelled before day 14.
Cancelling QuoteIQ: common questions
Does QuoteIQ give refunds if I cancel?
Generally no. QuoteIQ's terms say all fees are earned when paid and are non-refundable, with no refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, downgrades or dissatisfaction. What you do keep is access until the end of the period you've paid for. That's why cancelling a day before renewal costs the same as cancelling the day after you were billed.
Will deleting the QuoteIQ app cancel my subscription?
No. Deleting the app from your phone does nothing to billing. If you subscribed on QuoteIQ's website or in the web app, cancel under Resources, then Subscriptions. If you subscribed through Apple or Google inside the mobile app, the subscription belongs to that store and has to be cancelled in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
How do I cancel the QuoteIQ free trial without being charged?
Cancel before the 14-day trial expires. QuoteIQ's terms say that if you don't, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and the card you entered at sign-up is billed. Note the trial start date when you sign up, set a reminder for day 12, and keep a screenshot of the cancellation confirmation.
Can I pause QuoteIQ instead of cancelling?
Sort of. There is no separate pause button, but QuoteIQ's terms describe a pause of 30, 60 or 90 days when you choose "Seasonality" as the cancellation reason. That suits snow, lawn and holiday-lighting businesses with a dead season. Pausing also keeps your subscription continuous, which matters for the price lock on your current rate.
What happens to my customer data after I cancel QuoteIQ?
QuoteIQ's terms and help pages that we checked don't spell out how long data is kept after cancellation, so don't count on it being there later. Use the Export Data tools, which are on every plan, to download customer lists, estimates, payments and tax reports before you cancel, while your access is still active.
