QuoteIQ by trade: who it fits
QuoteIQ is the same app whichever trade you're in, so fit comes down to how you price and schedule work. These pages look at eight common trades and the features that matter for each.

QuoteIQ grew out of pressure washing, and it shows: satellite measuring and quick tiered quotes suit trades that price by area or by visit. Trades that price by the fixture, panel or system can still get a lot from the AI Estimator, the price book and the AI receptionist, but should check the gaps first. Each page below uses QuoteIQ's own industry pages (for example its industries index) as a starting point and adds what they leave out.
Electricians
Good/better/best quotes for panels and EV chargers, job costing and photo documentation. No electrical load calculations built in.
QuoteIQ for electricians →Plumbers
AI call answering for emergency calls, photo-based estimates, and truck inventory once you reach Elite.
QuoteIQ for plumbers →HVAC
Maintenance plans billed as invoice subscriptions, margin per install, and capturing no-heat and no-AC calls after hours.
QuoteIQ for hvac →Lawn care
Satellite measuring for quotes, recurring visits and billing, and route optimization on Elite and up.
QuoteIQ for lawn care →Pressure washing
The trade QuoteIQ grew out of: quote from the satellite, add-ons for driveways and gutters, and review requests.
QuoteIQ for pressure washing →House cleaning
Recurring scheduling and billing, customer self-booking on Elite, and team GPS while staff are clocked in.
QuoteIQ for house cleaning →Handyman
Package estimates for multi-task visits, a reusable price book and fast quotes from a phone on site.
QuoteIQ for handyman →Roofing
Roof and pitch measurement from satellite imagery on Beginner and up, photo-based quotes and job costing.
QuoteIQ for roofing →Not sure which plan your trade needs? Recurring and route-based work tends to land on Elite for routing and online booking, while quote-heavy one- or two-person outfits often stay on Essentials or Beginner. See QuoteIQ pricing and the feature guide.
Industries: common questions
Does QuoteIQ have trade-specific templates?
QuoteIQ's newer industry pages describe trade price ranges and estimate tiers that the AI Estimator can generate, but we didn't find downloadable trade templates or built-in trade price books. In practice you build your own price book of saved services, then use Options and Package estimates to present tiers.
Which trades get the most from QuoteIQ?
Exterior and area-based trades: lawn care, pressure washing, roofing, window and gutter cleaning, concrete and fencing. MapMeasure Pro measures those jobs from satellite imagery on Beginner and up, which removes a site visit for many quotes. Trades that price by the panel or fixture lean more on the AI Estimator and price book.
Is QuoteIQ good for electricians and plumbers?
It can be, mostly for quoting, payments and call answering. There are no electrical load calculations, no permit tracking and no plumbing-specific price book, and service agreements tied to equipment are thinner than ServiceTitan's. Our trade pages explain what works well and what you'd still handle outside the app.
How many trades does QuoteIQ support?
QuoteIQ says it serves 50+ trades and has around 90 industry pages, from electrical and HVAC to pool service and snow removal. Many share the same core features; the differences are mostly in the marketing copy and example price ranges. We cover the eight trades our readers ask about most.
