QuoteIQ review: a quoting-first CRM that rewards small crews
QuoteIQ bundles AI estimating, scheduling, invoicing, payments, a business phone line and an AI receptionist into one app for home-service contractors. We've used QuoteIQ, and this review covers what each plan really includes, what it costs once credits and extra users are counted, and where it falls short.

QuoteIQ is a strong buy for one- to ten-person crews whose growth depends on quoting quickly. Every plan gets the AI Estimator, Options and Package estimates, online payments, financing and the Virtual Call Team, from $29.99 a month. The catch is tier gating: QuickBooks and job costing start at Pro ($199.99), while online booking, route optimization and automated review requests wait until Elite ($299.99). Skip it if you need payroll, QuickBooks Desktop or a dispatch board for 20+ technicians.

What QuoteIQ is, and who runs it
QuoteIQ is field service management software sold by QuoteIQ LLC, a bootstrapped company founded in 2023 and based in Savannah, Georgia. Its founders, Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers, both came from running service businesses, and pressure washing was the company's original trade. Today the vendor pitches more than 50 trades, from electrical, plumbing and HVAC to lawn care, roofing and cleaning. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and any web browser. We cover the company in more detail in is QuoteIQ legit?
One thing to know before you read QuoteIQ's own site: many of its feature and comparison pages still show older prices from before the October 2026 price change. We use the current pricing page and QuoteIQ's 2026 plan matrix throughout this review.
Who QuoteIQ is for, by crew size
Solo operators
Essentials at $29.99 a month is unusually complete for a one-person business: all estimate types, invoicing, online card and ACH payments, customer financing, the shared calendar and every AI tool, including the AI receptionist. What you do not get is satellite measuring (Beginner), texting from a business number (Pro) or automated review requests (Elite).
Two to four people
Beginner ($99.99, 2 users) is the plan for exterior trades that measure from satellite, take inspection photos or want Google Calendar sync. Pro ($199.99, 4 users) is where an office starts to run the field: assign jobs to individual techs, send On The Way texts, use the Client Portal, track job costs and sync to QuickBooks Online.
Five to ten people
Pro includes four users, and each extra seat is $25. At eight people Pro plus four seats costs exactly the same as Elite ($299.99), which adds route optimization, InstaQuote, InstaSchedule, inventory, GPS time tracking and automated review requests. From eight users up, Elite is the obvious choice.
Eleven to twenty, or more than one business
Max ($699.99, 20 users) adds crews, the Sales Team Tracker, the AI Website Builder, four extra businesses and a dedicated account manager. Beyond about 20 technicians with a full office, QuoteIQ's own ServiceTitan comparison concedes the bigger platform does more.

AI estimating and quoting
This is QuoteIQ's strongest area. You describe a job by text or voice, attach up to five photos or measurements, answer a handful of follow-up questions, and the AI Estimator drafts line items with a confidence score on each one. QuoteIQ says a generated estimate typically costs 5 to 15 IQ Credits. AI CoPilot then edits the estimate by voice or chat (add a service, set a discount, add a deposit). Estimates come in Standard, Quick, Options (good/better/best) and Package formats, with e-signatures and deposits on every plan. QuoteIQ is honest that the AI does not know site conditions you have not given it, so check quantities and local costs before you send. Our AI Estimator breakdown goes deeper.
Satellite measuring and self-quoting
MapMeasure Pro (Beginner and up) measures areas and lengths from satellite imagery and drops the figure straight into the estimate line, with roof pitch, linear mode for fences and gutters, and older aerial imagery. AI AutoMeasure costs 100 credits per measurement and a property-lines pull costs 50. On Elite, InstaQuote puts a pricing form on your website so customers can quote themselves, even outlining their own lawn. See MapMeasure Pro and InstaQuote.
Scheduling, dispatch and routing
The scheduling calendar has day, week and month views, recurring visits, conflict warnings, weather forecasts and drag-to-reschedule with a short undo window. Assigning jobs to specific team members and On The Way texts start on Pro. Route optimization, which reorders a day's stops into a shorter path, and customer self-booking through InstaSchedule are Elite features. GPS tracking comes from employees' phones while they are clocked in; there is no vehicle hardware. More in scheduling and dispatch and route optimization.
Invoicing and payments
Estimates convert to invoices without retyping, and every plan takes cards, ACH, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus tips, QR-code payments, recurring invoice subscriptions and consumer financing through Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay. Mass invoicing starts on Beginner and job costing on Pro. QuoteIQ does not publish its processing rates; fees are deducted before payout, and its terms say processing fees are non-refundable. See invoicing and payments.

Phone, texting and the AI receptionist
ClientHub (Pro and up) gives you a business number with two-way texting, calling, voicemail transcripts and AI call summaries. The Virtual Call Team answers your line 24/7, qualifies leads, filters spam and can run outbound call batches, and it is on every plan. It is also the biggest variable cost: 125 IQ Credits buy one minute, and QuoteIQ's credits article also mentions a $1.25 base fee per call and $1.25 per minute after the first 60 seconds. Read our Virtual Call Team guide before relying on it.
Reviews and marketing
Every plan gets the Review Multiplier dashboard and a Google review link, but automated review requests after a paid invoice or accepted estimate only switch on at Elite. Some QuoteIQ industry pages imply otherwise; the help-center plan matrix is clear. Email and text automation is Pro, mass campaigns and pipelines are Elite, and the AI Website Builder is a $34.99 add-on unless you are on Max. Details in Review Multiplier.
Accounting, job costing and team tools
The QuickBooks integration syncs invoices, payments, customers, products, sales tax and convenience fees to QuickBooks Online from Pro up. Job costing (price minus labor minus expenses) is also Pro. Time Tracker Pro, EmployeeHub, team chat, roles and permissions and inventory by truck or warehouse are Elite. See QuickBooks integration and job costing and timesheets.

From QuoteIQ's pricing page and 2026 plan matrix, checked Oct 25, 2026. Features are cumulative. Extra users are $25/user/mo on every plan.
Annual billing is advertised as "2 months free", roughly ten times the monthly price, though QuoteIQ's own examples are off by a few cents, so confirm the total at checkout. Add-ons include the AI Website Builder ($34.99/mo), extra storage from $9.99/mo and extra businesses. Proposals cost 100 credits each on Essentials, Beginner and Pro. The full breakdown is on our QuoteIQ pricing page.
IQ Credits in one minute
AI and phone features draw on a shared monthly pool of IQ Credits: 500 on Essentials up to 8,000 on Max, with a flat 250 during the trial. Each AI action shows its credit cost before it runs. Credits reset every billing cycle and do not roll over, top-ups start at 2,500 credits for $25, and when you run out the AI features stop until the reset. For most quoting work the pool is plenty; for an AI receptionist answering many calls, it goes quickly. Our IQ Credits explainer has the per-action costs.

What QuoteIQ reviewers say
We checked every major review site on Oct 25, 2026. The Apple App Store showed 4.7 out of 5 from about 3.4K ratings. Google Play showed 4.4 from about 1.21K reviews and 10K+ downloads. Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice each showed 5.0 from 6 reviews, the same shared pool of six. We found no G2 star rating, and the Trustpilot profile had zero reviews. QuoteIQ's own claim of 4.7 across about 4,100 reviews is close to the app-store totals but not something we can verify.
The praise is consistent: reviewers find the app easy to learn compared with other CRMs, like how quickly they can send professional-looking quotes, and value having estimates, scheduling and customer messages in one place instead of several apps. Field quoting with the measuring tool and the responsiveness of the developers come up often. The complaints are just as consistent: so many features that setup takes time, bugs mentioned mostly in older reviews, uneven support experiences, and the monthly price compared with cheaper or free tools. With samples this small, treat these themes as signals rather than proof.
Pros and cons
- Entry plan at $29.99 with every AI tool and the AI receptionist
- Fast, flexible quoting: Options, Package, deposits, e-signatures
- Satellite measuring from Beginner up
- Customer financing and card/ACH payments on all plans
- Published prices and month-to-month billing
- Trial requires a card and bills automatically on day 14
- Online booking, routing and automated review requests need Elite
- QuickBooks Online and job costing need Pro; no Desktop support
- AI receptionist minutes burn credits fast
- Thin third-party review base; stale prices on QuoteIQ's own pages
We expand on each point in QuoteIQ pros and cons.
Limitations to weigh
QuoteIQ's own comparison pages concede most of these, which we respect. There is no payroll, bookkeeping, business financing or expense cards. The app is English-only. Location tracking uses phones, not vehicle trackers. Reporting is lighter than ServiceTitan's, with no technician scorecards or marketing-ROI attribution, and there is no large-team dispatch board. Fees are non-refundable once charged, and changing plans mid-trial ends the trial and bills at once. None of these are dealbreakers for a typical small crew, but each one is for somebody.

Is QuoteIQ any good?
For small home-service crews that win work on fast, clear quotes, yes. It packs estimating, scheduling, invoicing, payments and an AI receptionist into a plan that starts at $29.99 a month. It is a weaker fit if you need online booking or routing on a budget, payroll, QuickBooks Desktop or an enterprise dispatch board.
How much does QuoteIQ cost per month?
There are five plans: Essentials $29.99 (1 user), Beginner $99.99 (2), Pro $199.99 (4), Elite $299.99 (10) and Max $699.99 (20). Extra users are $25 a month each on any plan, and annual billing is advertised as two months free. AI and phone usage draws on monthly IQ Credits.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan has a 14-day free trial, but you need a credit or debit card to start, and the trial comes with a flat 250 IQ Credits. If you do not cancel before day 14 it turns into a paid subscription automatically, and fees are non-refundable.
Does QuoteIQ work with QuickBooks?
It syncs with QuickBooks Online on the Pro plan and above, pushing invoices, payments, customers, products and sales tax automatically. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported, and we found no QuoteIQ page that claims a Xero integration, so Xero users should plan on exporting data manually or choosing another tool.
What do QuoteIQ reviews say?
On Oct 25, 2026 the Apple App Store showed 4.7 out of 5 from about 3.4K ratings and Google Play showed 4.4 from about 1.21K reviews. Capterra listed 5.0 from just 6 reviews. Reviewers praise ease of use and fast quoting; complaints cover the learning curve, older bugs, support and monthly cost.
Is QuoteIQ better than Jobber?
It depends on the plan you need. QuoteIQ's entry plan is cheaper and includes AI tools and an AI receptionist, and satellite measuring arrives on Beginner. Jobber offers a card-free trial, a website on every plan and a bigger app marketplace. Compare the exact plan you would buy, not the headline prices.
