Is QuoteIQ legit? The company, the ratings and the fine print
Yes, QuoteIQ is legit: a real company with a real, widely used product. Whether it fits your business is another question. Here are the facts we could confirm about who runs it, how it bills, and what independent reviewers say, plus a few things QuoteIQ could do better.

QuoteIQ LLC is a real, US-based software company with published terms, active apps on both stores and thousands of ratings. The things to watch are commercial, not fraudulent: a card-required trial that auto-bills, non-refundable fees and outdated prices on some of its own pages.
Who runs QuoteIQ
- Legal entity: QuoteIQ LLC (the seller name on the App Store).
- Founded: 2023.
- Location: Savannah, Georgia, per the site footer and press page.
- Founders: Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers, both former service-business operators.
- Funding: bootstrapped, with no venture capital, per the press page.
- Support: live email and text support 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central every day on all plans, plus AI help, a help center and video tutorials, per QuoteIQ's pricing help.
QuoteIQ also publishes a phone number and support email on its own contact page. We are not QuoteIQ and cannot help with your account; contact them directly.
Terms and billing: what you agree to
QuoteIQ's terms and conditions were last updated October 23, 2026. The parts that matter most:
- Plans are month-to-month with no contract; cancel any time.
- The 14-day trial needs a card and converts to paid unless you cancel.
- Fees are non-refundable, including partial periods and unused time; access continues to the end of the period.
- Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are managed and cancelled there.
- New subscription payments run through Whop; QuoteIQ Payments for customers runs through Whop or Stripe.
None of this is unusual for subscription software, but the refund policy means you should decide during the trial. See how to cancel QuoteIQ.

Ratings and review counts
| Site | Rating | Count | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple App Store | 4.7 / 5 | about 3.4K ratings | Oct 25, 2026 |
| Google Play | 4.4 / 5 | about 1.21K reviews, 10K+ downloads | Oct 25, 2026 |
| Capterra / GetApp / Software Advice | 5.0 / 5 | 6 reviews (shared pool) | Oct 25, 2026 |
| G2 | No rating found | — | Oct 25, 2026 |
| Trustpilot | No score | 0 reviews | Oct 25, 2026 |
The app-store numbers are large enough to tell you that many contractors use QuoteIQ and like it. The business-software sites are too thin to lean on. Reviewers mostly praise ease of use and quick quoting; the complaints are about the learning curve, older bugs, uneven support and the monthly price.
Things QuoteIQ could do better
Being legit does not mean being perfect. QuoteIQ's own pages contradict each other on prices: several feature and comparison pages still show pre-October 2026 figures, and one page still advertises unlimited users on Max, which now includes 20. Its usage claims vary too, from "10K+ Pros" to "40,000+ contractors", and we cannot verify either. We use the current pricing page as the source of truth.
How to protect yourself when you sign up
- Sign up from QuoteIQ's own registration page or a link that leads to it, never from an unofficial form asking for card details.
- Check the plan and price on screen against the current pricing page before you enter a card.
- Set a reminder for day 12 of the trial, since fees are non-refundable once charged.
- Keep your login to yourself and use QuoteIQ's roles and permissions (Elite and up) to limit what crew members can see.
- If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, cancel through that store, not by deleting the app.
These are the same precautions we would take with any subscription software, and they are the main way contractors end up unhappy with QuoteIQ: not because the product is fake, but because a trial rolled over before they had decided.

Is QuoteIQ a real company?
Yes. QuoteIQ is sold by QuoteIQ LLC, which is the seller name on the Apple App Store. Its press page says it was founded in 2023, is based in Savannah, Georgia, and is bootstrapped without venture funding. It publishes terms and conditions, a help center and support contacts.
Who owns QuoteIQ?
QuoteIQ's press page names Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers as founders. Both describe themselves as former service-business operators: Vidan runs a YouTube channel, and Rogers hosts ForeverSelfEmployed. The company says it is bootstrapped, with no venture capital funding, and lists Savannah, Georgia as its home.
Is QuoteIQ safe to give my card to?
QuoteIQ is an established app with thousands of app-store ratings, and payments run through Whop or Stripe according to its terms. The real risk is not fraud but billing terms: the trial needs a card, converts to paid automatically, and fees are non-refundable. Cancel before day 14 if it is not for you.
Are QuoteIQ reviews real?
The app-store ratings are large enough to be meaningful: 4.7 from about 3.4K App Store ratings and 4.4 from about 1.21K Google Play reviews, as of Oct 25, 2026. Business review sites are thin, with six reviews shared across Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice and none on Trustpilot.
Is QuoteIQ worth it?
Legit and worth it are different questions. For small crews that quote a lot, we think it is good value. It is less suitable if you need payroll, QuickBooks Desktop or an enterprise dispatch board, or if the features you need sit on the $299.99 Elite plan. Our full review covers who it fits.
