Pick QuoteIQ if you quote a lot, want AI drafting your estimates and satellite measuring built in, and like a flat monthly price that includes several users. Jobber figures come from Jobber's pricing page. Cells marked “QuoteIQ says” are QuoteIQ's claims about Jobber, not Jobber's own words.

How the prices really stack up

Jobber prices by plan and by seat. Core is $49/mo for one user. Connect is $139 for one user or $199 for five. Grow is $199 for one or $299 for five, and Plus is $499 for five. Extra users are $29/mo each. QuoteIQ prices by plan with users baked in: Essentials $29.99 (1 user), Beginner $99.99 (2), Pro $199.99 (4), Elite $299.99 (10) and Max $699.99 (20). Extra seats are $25/mo on any plan. Pay yearly and you get two months free.

The gap widens as you add people. A five-person crew on Jobber Grow is $299/mo. Five people on QuoteIQ Pro is $199.99 plus one $25 seat, or $224.99. Ten people fit inside Elite at $299.99. QuoteIQ's own comparison makes the same point about Jobber's billing bands, saying a six-person shop gets placed in a band and billed for ten users.

QuoteIQ's headline claim goes further. It says Jobber Grow plus Receptionist, Marketing Suite, CompanyCam and a separate calling app totals $809/mo, while QuoteIQ Elite is $299.99. That's QuoteIQ's math, using its own add-on choices, so treat it as a sales argument rather than a quote. To its credit, the same page concedes that “Jobber is $100.99/month lower” for a five-user setup comparing QuoteIQ's InstaQuote with Jobber Connect. Read QuoteIQ's full Jobber comparison if you want its working.

The fine print on QuoteIQ is IQ Credits. AI actions, calls and texts draw on a monthly allowance (500 on Essentials up to 8,000 on Max) that doesn't roll over, and the vendor's own page warns that AI and communication usage “may cost extra.” Our IQ Credits explainer shows where the allowance goes, and QuoteIQ's pricing page lists each plan's allowance.

Estimating is where the two differ most: QuoteIQ puts AI drafting and measuring inside the quote screen.

Where QuoteIQ wins

AI estimating on every plan. The AI Estimator takes a typed or spoken job description and up to five photos, asks five follow-up questions, and returns line items with High or Medium confidence scores. You still review every line. QuoteIQ says it cuts a 20–34 minute manual quote to 4–7 minutes. That's the vendor's figure, not ours.

Measuring inside the quote. From Beginner up, MapMeasure Pro measures area and linear feet on satellite imagery and drops the number straight into an estimate line. Roof and pitch measurement is included too. QuoteIQ says Jobber leans on EagleView or Deep Lawn integrations for this.

More people per dollar. Four users on Pro and ten on Elite make QuoteIQ cheaper for most crews of three or more.

An AI receptionist from the entry plan. Virtual Call Team answers 24/7 on every plan. It runs on credits (125 per minute), and the help center also lists a $1.25 per-call fee, so budget for it rather than treating it as free.

Where Jobber wins

Switching from Jobber

Export your Jobber clients, services, quotes and invoices to CSV, then run them through QuoteIQ's AI Smart Import, which maps columns automatically. Payment history doesn't come across, so keep your Jobber export on file for the records. Imported contacts are opted in to automated emails by default, so review that before turning on any campaigns. Our step-by-step Jobber to QuoteIQ switching guide covers the order we'd do it in, including when to cancel Jobber so you're never paying for both longer than a week or two.

One trap: QuoteIQ's trial ends the moment you change plans, and billing starts. Decide which tier you need using our QuoteIQ pricing breakdown before you start.

Bottom line

If your week is mostly estimates, measurements and follow-ups, QuoteIQ gives you more of that for less money. If you want to kick the tyres with no card, need a site built in, or depend on Jobber's integrations, Jobber earns its price. Our full QuoteIQ review covers the rest.

QuoteIQ vs Jobber: questions we get

Is QuoteIQ cheaper than Jobber?

At the bottom, yes: QuoteIQ Essentials is $29.99/mo against Jobber Core at $49/mo monthly, though Jobber's annual offer of $21/mo for the first year undercuts both. Further up it depends on what you need. QuoteIQ's own comparison even admits Jobber Connect is $100.99/mo lower for one five-user setup that needs online quoting.

Does Jobber have an AI estimator like QuoteIQ?

Jobber's pricing page doesn't list an AI estimator among its plan features, so we can't confirm one. QuoteIQ's AI Estimator is on every plan: you describe the job by text or voice, answer five follow-up questions and get draft line items with confidence scores. Each estimate typically uses 5–15 IQ Credits.

Which free trial is easier to start, Jobber or QuoteIQ?

Jobber's. Its 14-day trial includes Grow features and asks for no card. QuoteIQ's trial is also 14 days but needs a credit or debit card and converts to a paid plan automatically if you don't cancel. Changing plans mid-trial ends the QuoteIQ trial and bills you straight away, so pick the plan first.

Can I move my Jobber data into QuoteIQ?

Yes. QuoteIQ's AI Smart Import takes a CSV exported from Jobber and maps the columns for contacts, services, price book, invoices and estimates. Past payment history isn't imported, and imported contacts are opted in to automated emails by default, so check those settings before you switch any automations on.

Who should pick Jobber over QuoteIQ?

Shops that want a website included on every plan, a no-card trial, a big app marketplace or the lowest first-year price on a single seat. Jobber's 100+ marketplace apps also suit owners who already rely on other tools. If AI quoting and satellite measuring matter more, QuoteIQ is the stronger pick.
