QuoteIQ Invoicing and Payments: Features, Plans and Fees
Invoicing and online payments are on every QuoteIQ plan: turn an accepted estimate into an invoice, text a payment link, take card, ACH, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and offer customer financing. The one thing QuoteIQ doesn't publish is the processing rate, so that's the first thing to check.

A complete quote-to-cash toolkit from $29.99/mo, with fee rates you have to look up yourself. Invoicing, invoice subscriptions, online payments, tips and consumer financing are on every plan. Mass invoicing needs Beginner and QuickBooks Online sync needs Pro. QuoteIQ says processing fees are separate and set by the processor, and it doesn't list the rates.

What invoicing does
- Estimate to invoice with no retyping, then send the payment link by text or email.
- Single, mass and recurring invoices. Invoice subscriptions handle maintenance plans and repeat billing.
- Payment terms including due on receipt and Net 15 or Net 30; QuoteIQ's online payments page also lists Net 60 and 90.
- Payment reminders an hour, day, week or month after sending.
- Deposits and partial payments, including deposits required on estimates.
- Tips on invoices.

How customers can pay
- Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover, plus manual card entry and card on file.
- ACH bank payments.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- QuickPay QR-code payments for taking money on site.
- Cash and check, recorded manually.
- Consumer financing through Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay at checkout. You're paid upfront "minus standard BNPL processing fees". QuoteIQ's help article lists Affirm up to $30,000 over up to 36 months and Afterpay Pay-in-4 up to about $4,000.

Processing fees: what we know
QuoteIQ doesn't publish card or ACH rates. Its invoicing page says "payment processing fees are separate from the plan and are set by the processor." Its online payments page adds that transactions "are subject to payment processing fees, platform fees, and other applicable charges, which are deducted from the transaction before your payout," and that "there is no monthly fee and no setup fee to turn payments on."
The processor isn't entirely clear either. The online payments page names Stripe. QuoteIQ's terms and conditions say payments for new users are "powered by Whop" with Stripe for legacy users only. The terms also state that processing, platform and dispute-related fees are non-refundable.
So before you switch your payments over, run a small real transaction during the trial and look at what arrives in your payout. That's the only reliable way to know your effective rate.
Credit costs
Sending invoices and taking payments isn't on QuoteIQ's list of credit-charged actions. Credits come in when you use AI on top, such as AI CoPilot editing an invoice or the AI Text Generator drafting the message. Proposals cost 100 credits each on Essentials, Beginner and Pro, and are included on Elite and Max.
How a contractor uses it day to day
The usual flow: the customer signs an estimate with a deposit, the job is done, you convert the estimate to an invoice on your phone and text the link before you leave the driveway. Reminders follow up on anything unpaid. Maintenance customers go on invoice subscriptions so you aren't rebuilding the same bill every month. For bigger tickets, financing lets the customer spread the cost while you're paid upfront, less the provider's fee.
Limits and gotchas
- Invoicing and online payments on every plan
- Financing through Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay
- Reminders, terms, deposits and tips built in
- No monthly or setup fee to turn payments on
- Processing rates aren't published
- Processor wording differs between pages
- Processing and dispute fees are non-refundable
- QuickBooks sync needs Pro; Online only
QuoteIQ also doesn't offer payroll, bookkeeping, business financing or expense cards, and its own Housecall Pro comparison says so. If you want those inside your field-service app, look elsewhere.
How it compares with Jobber and Housecall Pro
Jobber's pricing page lists invoices with online payments on its Core plan ($49/mo). Housecall Pro's lists payments and financing on Basic ($79/mo monthly, $59 annual). Our research doesn't include either competitor's processing rates, so compare them on Jobber's site and Housecall Pro's site. QuoteIQ's own Housecall Pro page concedes it has no payroll, bookkeeping, business financing or expense cards.
QuoteIQ's own pages cover invoicing, online payments and consumer financing.

Invoicing and payments questions
What are QuoteIQ's payment processing fees?
QuoteIQ doesn't publish them. It says processing fees are separate from the subscription, set by the processor and deducted before payout, with no monthly or setup fee to turn payments on. Run a small real payment during the trial and check your payout to see the effective rate before moving all your customers over.
Does QuoteIQ use Stripe or Whop?
QuoteIQ's own pages differ. The online payments page names Stripe, while the terms and conditions say payments for new users are powered by Whop, with Stripe for legacy users only. Check which processor your account connects to during setup, since fees and payout terms follow that provider.
Can my customers pay over time?
Yes. Consumer financing through Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay is on every plan. You're paid upfront minus the provider's standard fees. QuoteIQ's help article lists Affirm up to $30,000 over up to 36 months and Afterpay Pay-in-4 up to about $4,000. Approval is decided by the lender.
Is invoicing on the Essentials plan?
Yes. Invoicing, invoice subscriptions, the price book, online payments, manual card entry, QuickPay, tips and consumer financing are all on Essentials at $29.99/mo. Mass invoicing starts on Beginner, and QuickBooks Online sync, the client portal and job costing start on Pro at $199.99/mo.
Can I set up recurring invoices for maintenance plans?
Yes. QuoteIQ's invoice subscriptions handle recurring billing for maintenance plans and are on every plan. You can pair them with recurring visits on the calendar. Card on file and ACH make automatic collection easier, and reminders follow up on anything that goes unpaid.
